PowerPlay Esports - Inspiration/Rationale
The pattern and colors were chosen to represent the competing teams in the event. Blue vs Red is one of the most common ways to notate two opposing teams. The pattern of triangles facing each other in opposite directions is also inspired by the arrow shaped markers of players on a map seen in many modern games as well as the appearance of a fleet of ships in Galactica.
